3M™ Daylight Redirecting Film Installed by Columbia Filters

3M™ Daylight Redirecting Film is an incredible achievement in film. Its fabrication utilizes a replication processs that creates a window film micro-mosaic. This mosaic construct when applied to the top portion of a window is designed to move, or re-direct, excess light incoming at the window and send it deeper into the building to increase daylight’s penetration. These microscopic structures are able to redirect as much as 80% of light up onto the ceiling, providing more natural light to areas further form windows, while minimizing window hot spots near the windows themselves. Furthermore, Daylight Redirecting film will help reduce your dependence on electric lighting fixtures, as well.
